今日は、再帰(さいき)代名詞 Reflexive pronounを説明します。受け身(受動態)は中学2年生で習う文法で、高校生になっても習います。”〜自身”なんてイメージをもっていると思います。私もそうです。日本語にはあまりないイメージだと思います。しかし、日常会話をしていてかなり使うとても大切な文法なのでしっかりマスターしましょう。
私は、日本語が母国語で現在カナダのバンクーバーで語学留学をしています。大学生の頃、ブルガリアに2ヶ月間いたので、少しだけブルガリア語ができます。最近、身近な人の母国語がタガログ語、マンダリン、ポルトガル語だったりするのでブルガリア語のように緩く勉強はじめました。
そんな私が異なる言語を使う際に”今話している単語の品詞は名詞でその後に動詞を過去形にして”とか考えたことがありません。だから私は単語、表現、文法をイメージで覚えます。みなさん母国語ってそうやって習得しています。新しい言語を勉強して習得するにあたって、単語や文章のイメージができることがとても大切です。かんたんに説明をすると、”英語を英語で学び、英語で理解すること”です。
Vocabulary
再帰代名詞 Reflexive pronounを説明するうえでいくつか事前に学んでおくと良いVocabularyがあるので紹介します。意味を全て英語で説明しています。今回は高校生以上の単語がほとんどなので難しいものが多いです。感情を表現するのに使えるので、覚えると日常会話で使えます。

今回の説明は短くイメージできればすぐにマスターできます。英語で英語の文法を勉強していてよく思うことが、専門用語が難しいことです。再帰(さいき)代名詞 Reflexive pronounみたいにそもそも日本語でも使わない言葉ですよね。そもそも再帰って言葉を使うの機会が語学以外であれば教えてください。ポンコツなので説明できなくてイメージで”〜自身”としか説明できませんwww
I my me mine myselfみたいな感じで表を暗記したことありますよね？個人的に暗記ができるよりも、活用の方法がわかればよいと思います。日本語を話していても”未然、連用、終止、連体、仮定、命令”のことを意識しませんよね。それと同じです。コレができたら困らねぇよってねwww 場数を踏むしかないので、とにかく問題を解く、英語を話す、書くしかありません。
